The room Marcel Proust
The room Marcel Proust is THE romantic room, with its early-century atmosphere, to the rhythm of the author's strolls on the beaches of Cabourg, Hougate or Villers sur Mer ... More intimate the boudoir of Proust is filled with a poetic and romantic atmosphere.
One of Laurence's favorite authors, Marcel Proust, ( 1871- 1922) made his first trip to Cabourg at 10 years old, accompanied by his grandmother to treat his asthma, and enjoy the mild climate of Normandy. But it is especially between 1907 and 1914 that he will take full advantage of the time spent in Balbec, a name he gives to Cabourg in his work "In Search of Lost Time". He will become the most illustrious of the "vacationers" of Cabourg.
